Tanagram has enjoyed a long standing relationship with BCU, one of the nation’s top 100 credit unions, starting with our work on the redesign of their online banking interface in 2003. Through interface improvements alone we helped BCU increase their online bill pay enrollment by 85 percent.

Most recently, BCU launched a mobile version of their online banking tools, and Tanagram Partners worked closely with them to design a set of tools targeted to the needs of mobile users. The new BCU Mobile site highlights the four most frequent requests of users on the go: account balances, transferring funds, finding a location, and contacting BCU. These four tasks can also be completed at BCU.org, but the BCU Mobile site presents an optimized experience for each for users accessing the site from a mobile phone by reducing unnecessary information and the number of steps in each process.

The site meets dotMobi development standards. It does not require users to download any software, and it stores their financial data on BCU’s secure web servers, never on the phone.
