Lance Rutter and Yann Legendre recently worked with a dozen graphic design majors at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in an effort to help them realize their roles as public artists. The two Tanagram design visionaries guided the students through a process of discussion, discovery, and expression that led to the creation of expressive posters on topics ranging from the role of women in Hispanic culture to Christianity's place in government. The two day workshop took place at the campus's Art & Design building, and the participants were senior students of Assistant Professor Jennifer Gunji.
